Zhengzhou · Zhongyuan Tower

At Zhongyuan Tower, visitors can admire fourteen large relief sculptures and thirty-six statues of historical figures on the second-floor platform. Guided tours introduce Henan’s ancient creation myths and the origins of Chinese civilization, helping visitors understand why people say, “Half of China’s history can be found in Henan.”

 

On the fourth floor, you can experience the entire province of Henan in one visit. The Splendid Central Plains panoramic exhibition combines sound, lighting, and multimedia technology to bring scenes to life. Cars move, people walk, and over 5,000 years of Central Plains culture unfold in a spectacular 30-minute immersive experience.

Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum

The Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum showcases 25 ancient tombs from nine different dynasties, along with exquisite murals that reflect the wisdom and craftsmanship of ancient Chinese society.

 

During holiday periods, the museum offers six themed educational programs based on its valuable tombs, murals, and brick carvings. Through hands-on activities and immersive exhibits, visitors can explore traditional craftsmanship and experience a meaningful cultural journey connecting the past and present.

Erlitou Xia Capital Site Museum, Luoyang

The Erlitou Xia Capital Site Museum answers this question through innovative technology and creative storytelling, creating a dialogue between ancient and modern times.

 

The museum’s Wheat Art Workshop combines agricultural history, intangible cultural heritage education, and hands-on learning. Participants can discover the farming traditions of the Erlitou culture and gain insight into the agricultural wisdom of the Xia Dynasty.

Yinxu (Yin Ruins), Anyang

At Yinxu, visitors can explore archaeological ruins, admire precious artifacts, enjoy cultural performances, shop, sample local cuisine, and participate in educational activities—all while immersing themselves in Shang Dynasty culture.

 

For those interested in archaeology, the Yinxu Archaeological Science Experience Center is a must-visit. Through interactive technology, images, and multimedia displays, the center tells the story of modern Chinese archaeology and offers immersive excavation experiences and 5D archaeological adventures.

Guanshan Scenic Area, South Taihang Mountains, Xinxiang

A walk through Guanshan reveals some of nature’s most breathtaking landscapes. Children can touch rock formations shaped over millions of years and learn about the dramatic geological changes that transformed ancient seas into mountains.

 

The Guanshan Geological Digital Learning Center features an earthquake simulation house where visitors can experience different levels of seismic activity and learn earthquake safety skills. Seven themed exhibition halls showcase Earth’s evolution, volcanic activity, and geological history, allowing students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world exploration.

Hanyuan (Han Yu Cultural Park), Jiaozuo

Located in Mengzhou, Han Yu’s Mausoleum honors the renowned Tang Dynasty writer and scholar Han Yu. The site is rich in literary heritage, offering visitors a vivid cultural classroom.

 

Walking through the park and standing before Han Yu’s tomb, visitors can still feel the enduring power of his legacy. Ancient cypress trees and silent stone tablets tell a timeless story: great cultural figures are deeply rooted in the land that nurtured them, yet their influence extends far beyond it.

Mojia Village, Jiaozuo

Nestled in Mengzhou’s Xiguo Township, Mojia Village is surrounded by ravines on three sides and water on the other, creating a beautiful ecological environment enriched by centuries of cultural heritage.

 

Highlights include the Hometown Memory Museum, Wenshui Lake, fruit-picking gardens, agricultural experience zones, and various educational centers. Xu Shen Cultural Park, Luohe

Xu Shen Cultural Park was built to commemorate Xu Shen, known as the “Sage of Chinese Characters.” The park combines cultural heritage preservation, historical memorials, academic research, and Chinese character education.

 

Xu Shen’s masterpiece, Shuowen Jiezi, was China’s first systematic dictionary analyzing the structure and origins of Chinese characters, laying the foundation for Chinese philology. Visitors can explore attractions such as the Character Sage Hall, Shuzhong Hall, the Shuowen Museum, and the Character Archways to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese writing systems and the Six Principles of Character Formation.

 

Wangwu Mountain, Jiyuan

Follow the mountain trails of Wangwu Mountain and discover stunning landscapes where lush vegetation, flowing waters, and cultural landmarks blend harmoniously together. Upon reaching the summit, visitors are rewarded with panoramic views of rolling mountains and seas of clouds.
