Highly recommended! The cultural and creative counter in the hotel lobby has a lot of Anyang cultural and creative peripherals, especially beautiful small commodities, and many cultural and creative stamps. It is very suitable for family travel and friends travel!
The lady in cheongsam at the front desk 👧 looks very good~
Anyang Yinxu Museum: Is the 80 yuan ticket worth it?
This trip to Anyang was really eye-opening! 🌟 Anyang Yinxu Museum, a newly discovered treasure, is definitely worth a visit. Although I have been to museums in many cities before, this one requires a ticket to enter, 80 yuan per person, and only 40 yuan for the night entry. Although the price is a bit expensive, friends who have seen it say that it is shocking and worth the ticket price. After all, only 5% of the ruins have been excavated so far, which is amazing!
Ticket information🎫
The ticket price is 80 yuan/person, and 40 yuan/person for the night entry. The various free visits that have been circulated on the Internet before are inaccurate. The staff told us that from February 3, local people in Anyang can enjoy free tickets.
Interpretation service🗣️
If you want to get a deeper understanding of the exhibits, you can choose a paid interpretation service. You can find someone to share the order for 280 yuan, and each person will be given a Bluetooth headset, and can only hear their own interpretation. Of course, you can also choose an electronic interpreter.
Parking guide 🅿️
There are a lot of people here during holidays, and parking is very inconvenient. It is recommended to enter from the south gate, and you have to go around a long circle before you can walk back.
Take photos 📸
The new museum is very suitable for taking pictures, and the effect is better when wearing Chinese style clothes! The black and white tones are also very good, and the background is mostly bronze, which is very classy.
Tour experience 🚶♂️
The museum is divided into three floors. The content is not much, and it takes about 3 hours including the explanation. The treasures of the town include Yachang Niu Zun, Bronze Hand-shaped Device and Simu Xin Bronze Ding. The exhibition of chariot and horse relics, Ya copper cauldron, turquoise inlaid bone habitat and divination bone pit are also worth seeing. There is a digital hall at the end of the third floor, which is very interesting and easy to understand.
Cultural and creative products 🛍️
There are various cultural and creative products in the museum to choose from, and you can also collect stamps. It is very popular here, but my favorite is the cup of oracle bone latte, the cup design is very distinctive. The taste of turmeric wine is also very special, and friends who like ginger will definitely like it. The price of coffee is mostly 38 yuan/cup. Dayishang’s cake is also very delicious, with raspberry jam filling, sour and sweet.
In general, Anyang Yinxu Museum is a place worth visiting. Although the ticket is a little expensive, the exhibits are rich and the experience is full. I recommend everyone to experience it!
Yinxu Museum🤯The real history is far more terrifying than the Investiture of the Gods!
Yinxu is the site of the capital of the late Shang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 3,300 years and is the earliest ancient capital site in my country that can be documented. Guo Moruo once said that watching this is better than reading ancient books. The oracle bone inscriptions, bronze culture, jade, funeral system, concepts and customs, royal tombs and early buildings here are world-famous. Archaeology enthusiasts and history fans must come to check in if they have the chance!
Pan Geng, the 20th king of the Shang Dynasty, moved the capital to Xiaotun, Anyang around 1300 BC. Later, it became a deserted place because King Wu of Zhou conquered King Zhou and destroyed the Shang Dynasty. When I watched “Investiture of the Gods” back then, Daji made Bo Yikao into meatballs, which left a shadow on my childhood. The real Shang Dynasty was even more cruel than the modified TV series.
The horrific sacrificial customs of the Shang Dynasty can be verified from the unearthed cultural relics and oracle bone inscriptions. Judging from the ritual items found in Yinxu, the use of human sacrifices was a very common phenomenon, and even a large number of children were used for sacrifices. The number of animal sacrifices was huge, and common domestic animals such as cattle, dogs, and pigs were used. A small number of sacrificial remains used wild animals. And these ritual items should have also undergone a series of treatments, including beheading, dismemberment, burning, and burial. The sacrificial process and activities were recorded in the oracle bone inscriptions.
There is a bronze yan with a human head in the museum. Figure 2 The yan is equivalent to the current steamer. The teacher said that this might be to capture the enemy princess as a captive and destroy her spirit to sacrifice to the ancestors. I didn’t take photos of the two foundations of Yiqi and Yiba. There are various sacrificial pits under the stratum, such as warrior pits, chariot pits, and animal pits. You can imagine the bloody ritual scenes at that time.
I was very lucky some time ago! I met a volunteer teacher that day and walked around with him. I only visited the palace ruins. The tour route: Yinxu Museum➡️Oracle Bone Stele Forest➡️Chariot Pit➡️Yiqi and Yiba Site➡️Oracle Bone Cellar➡️Oracle Bone Stele Gallery➡️Fuhao Tomb. Yinxu Museum is built underground. Walking along the ramp marked with the age numbers, it really seems like I have the ability to travel through time!
📍Address: No. 1 Yinxu Road, Yindu District, Anyang City
⏰Time: 8:00-17:00, it is recommended to spend half a day to visit
🎫Ticket: 70 yuan. If you need to make an appointment in advance, remember to bring your ID! The ticket includes the palace ruins and the royal mausoleum ruins. The royal mausoleum ruins need to be reached by sightseeing bus. There is one every half an hour at the entrance of the tourist center. 🚌Transportation: You still have to walk a distance after getting off the bus, so it is recommended to take a taxi~
👩🏫Explanation: Manual explanation for 1.5 hours costs 200 yuan, or you can listen to free audio explanation. If you are lucky, you will meet volunteer teachers~
